*COMING SOON* 30s-40s Kay A-style mandolin. This guy’s loud, proud, and stands out in a crowd! This is the coolest example of a Kay A-style mandolin I’ve found. The checked binding and blonde finish is certainly striking, but the sound is the true highlight. It’s punchy with tons of character. The neck joint has been reset and reinforced, new rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, tuners, and bridge. The original pickguard had disintegrated, so it’s been replaced with canarywood. It’s quite adorable.
